Welcome to Leif Studios, where my journey of creative digital endeavors takes center stage. It’s been a long time coming—piecing together this website, portfolio, and blog has been a monumental task, not just technically but emotionally as well.

Creating for others has always come easier to me. Perhaps it’s the old adage that we are our own worst critics, which rings especially true when you are both the creator and the client. Another ongoing challenge has been showcasing my work effectively. For this portfolio, I’ve experimented with new presentation techniques like incorporating site visuals onto images of screens and computers, and creating video walkthroughs.

This year marked a significant shift as I stepped down from my role as a general manager at a bustling beach resort to focus more on freelancing. Though the transition has been slow at times, it has certainly been a busy and fulfilling period.

Here’s a look at some of the key projects I’ve tackled so far:

I had the pleasure of designing the Finding Your Juicy Spirit website, a showcase of my WordPress skills and a testament to my creative vision. By integrating my own photography as stock images, I added a unique, authentic touch to the site, enhancing its visual appeal and authenticity. The launch was accompanied by three distinct and relevant blog posts, enriching the site’s content and establishing a strong voice in spiritual guidance.

My next project was for a local tour company in Ghana, Wcldtourz.GH. Lacking in content and imagery, I stepped in to craft the entire narrative and visual representation using my personal photography collection. Although the client was hesitant to fund these additional services, I am confident of their long-term value and expect further collaboration as their needs evolve.

After about three years in development, I launched the Travel Business Assistance website, a venture aimed at streamlining business travel for executives. This comprehensive site features extensive information, including 50 pages and numerous country fact files, designed to assist executives entering new markets.

The Big Mill’s Backyard project is fresh and set to go live soon. My history with hotel digital marketing came in handy, as I personally visited the site to capture high-quality photos, ensuring the visuals met our high standards.

Getting started on Upwork

Despite having a steady flow of projects, I ventured onto Upwork to expand my reach. This platform has proven competitive, but I’m making headway with new clients and slowly building my reputation there.

Business/AI Coaching and Consultation

Recently, I began consulting for a healthcare and housing development project, which involves a substantial amount of strategy and planning. This work is not only rewarding but also a significant enhancement to my portfolio of skills.

Looking forward

My immediate focus is to finalize the Leif Studios website and continue building my presence on Upwork. Upcoming projects and ongoing professional development, including Google Analytics and Ads certifications, are on my agenda.

For those who need a website or know someone who does, please consider referring them to Leif Studios. I’m always open to discussing how I can help bring digital projects to life.
